Union

The Union Series developed out of the Fragment series, which used pieces from failed Aquatic pieces. As I gained more control over the challenges of the Aquatic pieces, I was faced with the choice of creating Aquatic pieces for the purpose of breaking them or redesigning the Fragment series. I decided to go with the redesign - clearly more fun...

I kept the base colors from Fragments (which I originally took from the Seafoam series) and essentially used the whole coloration process of Aquatic pieces for the side insert. This adds about an hour to each piece, but I think it is well worth it. The new title reflects the pre-existing union of Seafoam and Aquatic pieces in the Fragment series.
